A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of English to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Grays, Essex. This is an exciting role for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality English lessons and fostering a love for literature and language in students.

The Role:

1. Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities at Key Stage 5.
2. Deliver engaging, creative, and high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students.
3. Support students in developing strong literary analysis, writing, and communication skills.
4. Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the English department.
5. Take an active role in extracurricular activities, such as creative writing clubs, theatre trips, or debate teams.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
2. A strong academic background in English or a related subject.
3. Experience teaching English up to GCSE level, with A-Level teaching desirable.
4. A passion for literature and a creative approach to teaching.
5. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
6. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
