Location: Grantham

Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum

Start Date: Easter 2025

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Grantham. If you’re enthusiastic about literature and language and want to inspire students to develop a love for English, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

1. Deliver engaging and creative KS3 and KS4 English lessons.
2. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
3. Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.

Requirements

1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
3. Excellent classroom management skills.
4. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
5. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
