English Teacher KS3 & KS4
Location: Rochester, Kent
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Supply
Start Date: Easter 2025 Until End of Academic Year (With Potential to Extend)

Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher open to long-term, flexible teaching opportunities from Easter 2025 onward?

Supply Desk are working with a highly regarded secondary school in Rochester with an excellent reputation for inclusivity, student support, and staff development. They are currently seeking an English Teacher to join their vibrant and collaborative English department to teach KS3 and KS4 students on a full-time basis, taking on full teacher responsibilities until the end of the academic year with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, mark, assess, and report in line with school policies
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Differentiate learning to meet a range of student needs and abilities
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Confident classroom presence with excellent behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• Strong passion for English literature and language
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
