I am recruiting for a school based in RCT which has a caring and inclusive environment to encourage the development of both pupils and staff. Your new role

Starting ASAP, you will work as a part of a successful department made up of specialist teachers and will be responsible for:

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 English.
  • Full planning, preparation and assessment duties.
  • Actively taking part in departmental meetings.
  • Pastoral duties including parent's evenings.
What you'll need to succeed

You must hold QTS - TEFL or ESOL teachers are not suitable unless also possessing a PGCE in English. You will be a qualified teacher, and you will have previous experience of teaching within a secondary school or college.

  • Hold a valid PGCE.
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
  • Up-to-date EWC registration.
