Job description

South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham

Temporary, Part-Time hours

£20 - £30 Per hour

SEN experience

Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring sessions to students
  • Create engaging lesson plans to meet individual learning needs
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their learning goals
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring English and Maths
  • Experience in tutoring English and Maths
  • Knowledge of SEN practices and strategies
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Additional training in SEN support
Additional Information:
