Job Description

Engineering Technician. Are you a practical, hands-on engineer with machining experience? Do you want to develop a broad skill set across all areas of engineering? This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-tech environment, gaining experience in assembly, testing, maintenance, fault-finding, and CNC Machining.

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Machinist/Engineering Technician with a background in machining (lathes, mills, etc.) who wants to expand their expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Precision machining & fabrication - operating lathes, milling machines, and other workshop tools.
  2. Assembly & system integration - working with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  3. Testing & fault-finding - diagnosing and resolving issues in engineering systems.
  4. Maintenance & repair - ensuring equipment and machinery are in full working order.
  5. Technical documentation - interpreting engineering drawings and contributing to process improvements.

What We're Looking For

  1. Hands-on experience with manual machining (lathes, mills, drills, etc.).
  2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
