Maintenance Engineer

Telford

£40,000

Day Shift - Monday to Friday

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Stores Lead to join a market leading company in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Role Description

1. Spare parts and refurbishment management (implementation of supporting systems and COSHH compliance)
2. Tracking and reporting stores performance through CMMS, to include stock accuracy and turnover
3. Complete regular cycle counts and full stock counts
4. Optimise Engineering stock spares holding in line with inventory management and criticality analysis
5. Improve parts description
6. Set up and Manage engineering materials and spares on company CMMS system
7. Monitor, recommend and improve the minimum and maximum order points
8. Key system user responsible for materials, Material group codes, new suppliers
9. Ownership of Stores KPI's
10. Support Annual critical Matrix review
11. Develop enhanced usage of the CMMS system
12. Identification of obsolete stock
13. Play an active part in the building of planned maintenance schedules
14. Liaison with Engineering projects to capture and cater for incoming parts requirements to ensure availability

Skills and Qualifications

1. Experience of implementation of new systems
2. CMMS systems experience - PDM introducing new system (IFS)
3. Some CI experience (This role will only require CI in the Stores)
