Job Description: Engineering Project Manager

Location: Wrexham

Schedule: Monday to Friday Days (08:00-17:00)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

We are looking for a motivated engineering project manager to oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. This role involves managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure project success. The Engineering Project Manager must coordinate with various teams, including engineering, procurement, technical, and production, to deliver high-quality results. Effective communication, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of engineering principles are crucial for this position.

Role Description

• Plan and finalise engineering projects to a deadline and within budget
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Identify changes for continuous improvement projects
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

Skills and Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
• Experience with project management software like MS Project or Primavera
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with risk management and quality assurance control
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
• Experience in the food industry is desirable
