We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to extend and improve dunnhumby’s Software Engineering Department. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities for us and influence global retailers.

Joining our team, you’ll work with world class and passionate people to lead an agile team contributing to and maintaining our cloud infrastructure as code, CI / CD pipelines, and working alongside other experienced professionals to deliver our software products.

What we expect from you

• Strong experience in leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support the platform and services.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
• Experience with CI / CD tools (Octopus, Gitlab, Teamcity)
• Experience with Cloud native and open-source monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, New Relic)
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practice
• Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies and best practices
• Experience with deployment methods like GitOps and ArgoCD
• A track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing engineering teams
