As a Graduate Trainee – Engineering Function, you will:

  1. Engage in a two-year graduate development scheme designed to accelerate your career in engineering.
  2. Develop skills in various engineering roles, contributing to real projects that impact safety, security, and technological advancement.
  3. Gain knowledge of precision components and systems, covering aspects such as concept generation, design, manufacture, processing, assembly, safety, reliability, maintenance, testing, and commissioning.
  4. Experience a range of placements that allow you to focus on a specific technical area or explore diverse projects.
  5. Receive a core programme of leadership, business, and ‘soft skills’ training.
  6. Work towards professional registration as a Chartered Engineer with support from experienced professionals.

Your work will be critical to the success of significant engineering and scientific projects, ensuring the continuous advancement of technology and infrastructure.

Entry Requirements:

Educational Background: You are a recent graduate or will graduate by September 2025 with at least a 2:2 degree in engineering disciplines such as Aerospace/Aeronautical, Chemical/Processing, Civil, Design, Electrical/Electronics, General, Integrated, Manufacturing, Structural, or Systems Engineering.
