Engineering Geologist

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000

An exciting opportunity for an Engineering Geologist looking for their next step in an engineering consultancy has presented itself in Norfolk. You’ll be joining a team of geotechnical and geo-environmental specialists on a range of technically challenging projects around East Anglia. The position provides great opportunity for continued professional development and new responsibilities.

The successful Engineering Geologist will receive:

The Engineering Geologist selected will have a variety of responsibilities. These include:

  • Carrying out Ground Investigations.
  • Factual and interpretive report writing.
  • Design of retaining walls, foundations, and slope stability.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Ground movement assessments.

As a result, this Engineering Geologist position requires:

  • Previous experience in a similar Engineering Geology role, with knowledge in geo-environmental and geotechnical practices.
  • An industry-relevant degree (for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, etc).
  • Have or be working towards chartership.
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
  • Live commutable to the Norfolk area.
