POSITION PURPOSE
The Engagement Officer is responsible for developing and executing creative strategies, implementing innovative sales techniques, establishing new partnership opportunities, and managing existing accounts to drive growth within the Employability sector.

Mode
The role is homebased, 37.5 hours per week. However, travel to centres/meetings/events/seminars/training across the UK will be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive proactive sales and partnership development efforts using diverse channels to enhance business growth.
- Generate new business opportunities through strategic account management, networking, and targeted sales outreach.
- Identify and engage potential clients by generating leads and conducting cold calls.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key referrers, clients, and industry leaders to develop successful partnerships.
- Deliver impactful presentations and information sessions to potential clients and lead discussions with key stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service and care to external stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
- Manage time and workload effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to meet business goals.
- Oversee and nurture key accounts to maximize business potential, ensuring proactive management and identification of new opportunities.
- Influence and shape strategic objectives that align with and drive business success.
- Assist in planning sales campaigns and developing a robust sales pipeline to meet growth targets.
- Travel confidently across the UK as required to engage with clients and partners independently.

- Prepare comprehensive proposals tailored to customer needs and aligned with business objectives.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with senior management and external partners to drive strategic alignment.

- Apply an analytical approach to manage multiple projects, supporting business growth and operational efficiency.
- Compile and present sales reports for internal and external senior management, contributing to target setting and identifying new growth areas.
- Research and explore new business opportunities, including emerging markets, growth trends, customer needs, partnerships, and innovative ways to serve existing markets.
- Conduct sales forecasts and analyses to support strategic planning, presenting insights to senior management.
WORKPLACE HEALTH & SAFETY
This role is responsible for working within policies and procedures of TBHG, ensuring that a safe working environment is always maintained, and communicating workplace health and safety risks and incidents immediately.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualification & Essential Criteria
- Enhanced DBS Check.
- Eligibility to work in UK (unrestricted).
- At least 3 years’ experience within Sales/Partnership/Business Development within Employability, Skills and/or Health.
- Confidently able to use Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to lone work/remote work as part of a team, as well as autonomously.
- Pro-activeness and eagerness to develop in a fast-paced environment.
- Drive to succeed and work against targets.
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Have impeccable attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of social media platforms.
- Be deadline driven.
- Degree or equivalent educated.
