Enfranchisement Solicitor/Legal Executive – Central Birmingham

Our client, known for its large property team in the West Midlands, is seeking an Enfranchisement Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its specialist leasehold team. You will focus on enfranchisement and leasehold residential property matters. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the team’s growth while handling a varied and challenging caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of voluntary and volume lease extensions, including:
    • Collective enfranchisement and lease extensions – LRHUDA 1993
    • Enfranchisement and lease extensions under the LRA 1967
  • Supporting the residential property team with complex transactions, including:
    • Deeds of variation
    • Lease advisory work
    • Licences to assign
    • Marketing and business development, including writing articles on leasehold reforms
  • Attending training and networking events on leasehold enfranchisement
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with enfranchisement valuers
  • Meeting agreed fee income targets

About You:

You will have:

  • At least five years' PQE in enfranchisement law, with strong technical expertise
  • Proven ability to market and promote within this specialist area
  • A proactive approach to building client relationships and growing the practice
  • Strong organisational and process-driven skills
