We’re all about helping them to shine.

Bellrock Property & Facilities Management Ltd provides specialist risk-focused workplace management and property management services to a wide range of complex and sophisticated clients throughout the UK.

As part of our continued growth, the opportunity has arisen for an Energy/Sustainability Analyst. This role will be home-based with travel across the UK when required. This is a critical position within the Bellrock Energy and Sustainability Team overseeing the consistent collection, reporting, and analysis of data from assets within the Legal and General Mercury Model. This award-winning partnership has achieved fantastic results since beginning in 2019, and this role is critical to the next stage of our journey together.

Using energy/utility knowledge and the in-house InMetriks platform to provide data insights regarding inefficiencies and consumption trends whilst identifying energy and carbon saving opportunities will be a key part of this role.

In addition to this, the role will also support our team's delivery of wider sustainability targets for waste, water, and social action initiatives ensuring on-site teams deliver against KPI’s.

How will you be the change?

We believe every role is essential to providing that peace of mind for our customers - whatever part of the business you’re in. Every role plays a part in driving us further. Everyone can be the change. That’s how we deliver value for our customers and build systems that lead the way.

As an Energy & Sustainability Analyst, you’ll do it by…

  • Utilising InMetriks reports on energy consumption across a retail and industrial estate portfolio, including EV/PV installations to:
    • Identify poor performing assets.
    • Initiate investigation and resolution.
    • Identify, propose and record required actions to deliver energy efficiencies.
  • Review data to ensure that automatic meter data collection concurs with the manual meter readings for validation.
  • Benchmark energy consumption against best practice guidelines.
  • Liaise with energy broker to co-ordinate PPA’s where required.
  • Provide contextual data for carbon net zero initiatives, supporting engagement with the Legal and General ESG team.
  • Review supplier waste reports ensuring accuracy of the data in Deepki platform.
  • Support Social Action Initiatives ensuring accurate reporting in Deepki platform.
  • Be active in team meetings and support collaboration between teams and divisions.
  • Support the process to communicate with occupiers on energy efficiency opportunities through FM’s and Vizta, the Legal and General occupier engagement platform.
What does it take?

If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as an Energy & Sustainability Analyst, you’ll need…

  • Recent graduate or have 1-2 years experience working with data and analytics.
  • Have an inquisitive mind and want to make an impact.
  • Basic understanding of UK energy billing and/or UK utility networks/systems.
  • Understanding of energy units of measure and best practice quantities.
  • Knowledge of UK property energy consumption culture (Retail and Industrial).
  • Able to interpret energy demand and generation profile trends in easily accessible formats.
  • Passion to learn about renewable technologies, import and export metering, and PPA’s.
  • Understanding of the UK waste industry and reporting.
  • Understanding of Social Impact assessments and initiatives.
  • A passion for detail.
  • Excellent track record in problem solving.
  • Excellent MS Excel Skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enjoys to innovate.
