Job Title: Energy & Sustainability Manager
Location: Norfolk
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

About the Role:
A leading global organisation is seeking an Energy & Sustainability Manager to join their team at a major site in Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for a facilities management professional with a passion for energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and sustainable practices within the built environment.


As the Energy & Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the site's energy and environmental objectives, driving forward innovative strategies to reduce energy consumption, improve efficiency, and support long-term sustainability goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement energy and sustainability strategies in line with corporate goals
  2. Monitor and analyse energy usage and environmental impact across the site
  3. Identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements through energy-efficient technologies and behavioural change
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant energy and environmental legislation and certifications
  5. Collaborate with facilities, maintenance, and engineering teams to embed sustainable practices
  6. Lead reporting efforts and contribute to internal and external audits

What We're Looking For:
  1. Proven experience in energy or sustainability management within facilities or building services
  2. Strong understanding of energy compliance, decarbonisation initiatives, and sustainable FM practices
  3. Relevant qualifications (e.g. Energy Management, Environmental Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or similar)
  4. Excellent analytical and communication skills
  5. Knowledge of energy management systems, reporting platforms, and sustainability frameworks is desirable
