About the Role
A leading consultancy is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its team, advising on energy regulation, policy, and strategy. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that shape the future of the utilities sector, including price controls, regulatory frameworks, and industry transformation.
You will bring expertise in energy networks regulation, with an understanding of Ofgem’s RIIO price controls, and play a key role in helping clients navigate regulatory changes, optimise financial performance, and influence industry policy.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of regulatory policy, price control, and market framework projects.
Work with leading energy and utility clients, advising on policy developments and transactions.
Engage with regulators, government bodies, and investors.
Conduct economic and financial analysis, applying regulatory and microeconomic principles.
Draft reports, develop insights, and present recommendations to clients.
Collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-quality client solutions.
Contribute to business development, including research, proposals, and client pitches.
Qualifications & Skills
? Understanding of UK energy regulation, Ofgem’s RIIO framework, and economic principles.
? Experience in regulatory finance, utility markets, or microeconomics.
? Strong analytical skills, including quantitative analysis and financial modelling.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
