Description

Cornwall Insight is an award-winning international energy consultancy, and we are seeking an Energy Analyst to join our Consumer Markets team based in our Norwich HQ.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analysing information for regular subscription reports on the energy supply markets within the Consumer Markets team. They will support bespoke research and delivery of information for key clients, actively participate in enhancing research and identifying new areas of commercial opportunity.

Aside from our Graduate programme, this is our entry-level role, with a very clear progression route throughout the organisation. You will benefit from training and a clear onboarding plan, as well as working with passionate energy experts and supportive colleagues across the business.

We operate a hybrid model as a default, and we are open to different ways of working, so please do reach out if you are interested in working on a different basis in terms of hours or locations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for authoring high-quality and punctual content for a suite of publications
  2. Responsible for gathering information, inputting and analysing data and identifying key trends or relevant impacts on customers
  3. Explore new commercial opportunities through customer contact
  4. Develop knowledge of the supply market and wider energy industry through research, regular reporting, webinars and knowledge-sharing meetings to keep the content fresh and up-to-date
  5. Effectively communicate the key outputs of the research to the team and customers, focusing the information to the audience
  6. Elicit feedback from existing customers and suggest improvements to services resulting from this
  7. Take a proactive role in the team, contributing ideas and learnings to the business and customers
  8. Provide support to team members and the wider company as required, including support for relevant consulting assignments
  9. Involvement in team ad-hoc projects as required
  10. Contribute to supporting the training business
