About the Role:
As an Energy Analyst, you will be instrumental in evaluating, interpreting, and optimising energy usage across our client's portfolio. Your role involves analysing various data sets (such as energy and mechanical systems), identifying trends, and uncovering opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost savings, and sustainability initiatives. By directly contributing to our client's environmental goals, your work will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive significant operational improvements. You will work closely with various stakeholders to implement effective strategies, making a notable impact on our client's operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: A solid educational background, including GCSE-level English and Maths.
  • Experience: A minimum of 12-18 months of experience in energy efficiency or a related field.
  • Qualifications: While not mandatory, membership in recognised professional bodies (such as EMA, CIBSE, the Energy Institute, or IMechE) or progress toward membership is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data systems to assess asset performance and recommend enhancements for maintenance procedures and energy efficiency.
  • Perform data analysis and assessments to identify efficiency opportunities within the client's portfolio.
  • Manage the ongoing implementation of energy efficiency measures and monitor optimisation outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Operational Maintenance and Professional Services teams to report on energy consumption analysis, optimisation results, and maintenance planning.
  • Investigate energy-related queries on-site, including BMS interventions, in collaboration with the operational team.
  • Conduct energy audits and surveys to deploy data-driven and analytics solutions.
  • Provide technical and operational support for the utility metering and monitoring systems strategy.
  • Develop procedures for data capture and analysis, ensuring technical accuracy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and operational teams, to support energy management initiatives.
  • Communicate updates, recommendations, and insights on energy management performance to key stakeholders.
  • Support the deployment of data-driven and analytics solutions, client energy/carbon efficiency recommendations, and compliance with energy and Net Zero strategies.
