We're working with a pioneer within the marketing and communications side of the print industry. Due to continued growth, they're currently seeking an Enclosing Machine Operator to join their team.

The Role

1. To operate or assist on equipment in the production area
2. Check machinery output as defined by company procedure
3. Enclosing and inserting items as defined by the standard company samples
4. To perform quality checks on the produced item
5. To resolve / inform others of machinery maintenance issues
6. To correctly label and package items where required
7. To maintain efficient machine speeds

The Person

1. Has the ability to manage expectations around timescales and deliverables
2. Experience operating machinery within the print industry is essential
3. Experience operating enclosing machines is desirable
4. Can work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
5. Has a proactive approach to work - always willing to learn and working to improve processes to ensure business efficiency
6. Can communicate effectively and build rapport with all departments across the business and with external suppliers
7. Be flexible with their attitude towards work and task allocation, ensuring client demands are met at all times

Salary + Benefits

This is a full-time position working on the late shift, Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm - 37.5 hours per week.
The salary is £27,000, rising to £28,000 once fully trained. Plus, benefits including generous holiday allowance, regular overtime, ongoing training and support and company pension.
