An established industry player is seeking dedicated volunteers to support individuals in their job search. This role involves providing one-on-one assistance, helping clients with CVs and applications, and conducting mock interviews. The organization values empathy, reliability, and a commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults. Training and support are provided to ensure volunteers are well-prepared. Role:
To provide support to individuals to help them find work, and signpost them to other local agencies/organisations as appropriate, i.e. DWP, CAB etc.

Time commitment
The time commitment is 3hrs per week and will be agreed with the Community Programme Coordinator, but we can be flexible to meet your circumstances. Shift pattern: 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm Monday to Saturday.
Training & Support
The Salvation Army provides an induction/basic volunteer training via I-Learn portal or at a training day as well as ongoing training as required. We also offer ‘taster’ sessions to see if our volunteer role is a good fit for your skills, experience and interests.
Volunteer expenses
The role is unpaid, but reasonable expenses incurred can be paid with prior agreement of the Community Manager.
