Mizrahi Kroub LLP is seeking an attorney to join its Employment Litigation practice. The attorney will be responsible for managing a full caseload, from intake through resolution. The role will provide immense litigation experience, as you will be working under a team of lawyers.
Job Role/Duties:
Handle all phases of assigned caseload through resolution
Draft demand letters, complaints, and motions
Vigorous representation of clients throughout the litigation process
Attend court hearings and conferences
Prepare and respond to discovery and appear at depositions
Participate in settlement efforts, including through mediation and settlement conferences
Qualifications:
Admitted to the NY State Bar
3-8 years of experience litigating cases under the following statutes:
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
The New York State Human Rights Law
The New York City Human Rights Law
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
New York Labor Law (NYLL)
