Job description

Miller Grace are working with a highly regarded full-service firm, known for their Legal 500 rated employment team.

The team is looking for an Employment Associate (2-5 PQE) to assist in all aspects of the team's workload.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the Head of Team, Legal Director, Principal Associates, and Senior Associate in the employment team with a variety of complex employee relations and employment tribunal cases.
  2. Dealing with enquiries from clients about day-to-day HR management and employment law.
  3. Delivering bespoke training to clients in employee relations, best practice, and risk avoidance.
  4. Building relationships with the firm's clients, business partners, and internal and external stakeholders with a view to building their own caseload.

Prior Experience Required:
  1. Advising on a breadth of employee relations issues.
  2. Employment tribunal case management.
  3. Drafting employment contracts, service agreements, employment policies, and handbooks.
  4. Supporting a corporate/commercial team on mergers and acquisitions, particularly pre-completion due diligence.
