The difference you’ll make:

  1. Providing technical expertise and advice on complex employment matters, working closely with Divisional HRBPs, conduct, and senior stakeholders.
  2. Maintaining a positive employee relations environment by enabling management capability and translating people metrics into actionable insights.
  3. Gathering detailed information through investigations, interpreting findings, and documenting employment claims, disciplinary actions, and organizational changes.
  4. Playing an active role in planning and implementing key people initiatives, such as culture change and Business Transformation.
  5. Keeping HR colleagues informed of status, recommendations, and trends that may need attention.
  6. Monitoring conduct rule breaches under the Senior Managers Certification Regime in collaboration with the Employee Regulation Team.
What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  1. Previous experience in a regulated environment.
  2. Experience as an Employee Relations specialist.
  3. In depth technical knowledge and application of UK employment law.
  4. Experience with Excel and database tracking systems.
It would also be nice for you to have:

  1. A relevant Qualification or equivalent thereof.
  2. Experience of liaising and managing external relationships and senior internal relationships.
  3. Experience in dealing with unions.
  4. HR generalist experience.
What else you need to know:

This role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.

We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 3 days a week (pro-rata for part-time roles).

  1. Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus.
  2. We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
  3. 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
