Role: Emotional/Behavioural Support Worker
Salary: £83 - £95 per day
Contract: Long-Term Temporary with potential for permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 3:30 pm)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs? A specialist school in Slough is seeking a dedicated Emotional/Behavioural Support Worker to assist students with Autism, ASD, and communication difficulties.

This role is ideal for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact, helping children build resilience, develop essential life skills, and thrive in an educational setting. You will be working closely with students who require additional guidance and support to manage their emotions and behaviours effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with additional needs.
  2. Assist in implementing strategies to help students regulate their emotions and behaviour.
  3. Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create an inclusive, structured learning environment.
  4. Encourage students to develop independence, confidence, and positive coping mechanisms.
  5. Build trusting relationships with students, offering reassurance and guidance when needed.
