Salary from £41,000 plus bonus and benefits

Hybrid Working - Farringdon

We're looking for a Supply & Logistics Planner who can own the responsibilities of Planning & Logistics from production to market delivery for the EMEA Business Unit across multiples brands, markets and manufacturing facilities.

This role will be responsible for delivering quality product, on time, in full based on business and market needs as well as representing supply in EPD and NPD projects to support the evolving needs of the business, balancing market and production needs for launch timings and cost effective delists.

You will be able to communicate effectively and work well in a dynamic and highly collaborative team. Identify, report and own the management of risks to continuity of supply effectively. Be confident using advanced formulas on excel and willing to learn and own data management on new systems.

What are we looking for?

  • Ideally educated to degree level although this can be substituted by relevant working experience.
  • Supply Chain/Operations experience, including experience in planning (demand or supply) with knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes. Working experience in FMCG / Food is an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge for data analysis (e.g. Pivot, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, conditional formatting)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • UK and European travel will be necessary to office and supplier locations.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Supply Planning
  • Take ownership of forecasting and managing the business needs for production and planning at external manufacturing sites, delivering and reporting against KPI's including on time delivery and production in full to ensure market stock needs are adhered to.
  • Identifying, reporting, and managing risks to supply, including conducting reviews with external manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders.
  • You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to inform and work through risks or changes to production scheduling, working as a team to protect continuity of supply to local markets.
  • On-going management of Purchase Orders and invoice queries (raise, change, close)
  • Manage reviews of packaging and raw material supply against forecast requirements, investigating non-quality costs and raising PO's accordingly.

Logistics
  • Manage the day-to-day Supply Route to Market across the manufacturing network and working closely with logistics partners, using knowledge of the key logistics factors and requirements to ensure seamless transport of product.
  • Manage the shipping documentation as required through the supply chain, covering set up, change management ongoing maintenance and understanding the different requirements depending on the Route to Market and specific market regulations.
  • Work with MW and KIND EMEA Commercial on the tender and set up of logistics partners.

Market Collaboration
  • Proactively review, report and action OOS and Stock shelf-life risks in national hubs as well as conducting root cause analysis on the risks and ensuring the correct stakeholders are informed for business risks to be reviewed.
  • Understanding the changing local market stock needs, ensuring these are reflected in periodic forecasting and production requirements, reviewing production plans and actual production volumes against OOS risks and ensuring the right stakeholders are informed.

Project management
  • Representing the Planning and Logistics team in cross functional, and technical led projects including but not limited to packaging changes, new market launches, recipe changes and delists.
  • Own new item set up and maintenance of SKU portfolio on internal supply chain systems including ERP and demand aggregation tools (Kinaxis RR)
  • Support the team in functional expert areas such as system key user or driving digital efficiencies.
