This role is based in North Hertfordshire, with a broad commuting range. The Embedded Electronics Design Engineer will be working with a global organisation focusing on the development of smart tech / IoT and also Wireless.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include working on a range of Embedded Electronic Designs (PIC, Microchip, Baremetal) with some hands-on work on a wide range of state-of-the-art products mainly focusing on IoT, including new product development which will involve full product development from conception, specification, and design of prototypes, through to manufacture. Other responsibilities will include:

1. Feasibility studies for new technical innovations;
2. Researching new techniques and technologies to enhance the company’s product line;
3. Assisting in the design of appropriate tests;
4. Production support.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree, along with a proven background in Electronics Design, along with:

1. Embedded Development with a wide range of microcontrollers;
2. An Electronics knowledge is also required, including PCB Design for schematics.
