Role Overview
As Email Marketing Executive, you’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and executing sophisticated email campaigns that deliver personalised, dynamic, and engaging experiences for our customers. You’ll play a key role in supporting our multi-channel marketing strategy, ensuring seamless integration of email campaigns with wider marketing initiatives. Your expertise in automation, personalisation, and content creation will help us deliver the right message to the right customer at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Build and manage email automation workflows to deliver timely and relevant communications across the customer lifecycle.
- Create and manage personalised and dynamic content to improve campaign relevance and performance.
- Utilise tools such as Canva (or similar) to design visually appealing email creatives aligned with brand guidelines.
- Analyse email campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, CTRs, conversions) and generate actionable insights to optimise campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver holistic, multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with broader business goals.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and email marketing best practices.
- Support broader marketing initiatives, including customer segmentation and campaign calendar planning.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure email marketing aligns with wider brand and campaign messaging.
- Stay updated with the latest email marketing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in email campaign creation, build, execution and reporting.
- Strong understanding of email marketing automation workflows and tools.
- Proven experience creating and managing personalisation and dynamic content within email campaigns.
- Familiarity with A/B testing to optimise email campaigns.
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Experience using GA4 to monitor and report on email marketing KPIs.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar design tools.
- Ability to analyse campaign data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of GDPR compliance and email marketing regulations.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Upland/Adestra (or similar email marketing platforms).
- Experience with HubSpot CRM tools.
- Exposure to website personalisation technologies.
- Experience in social media management as part of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Previous experience with marketing campaign planning and calendar management.
- Experience of SMS marketing
- Knowledge of HTML for email coding
- Ability to create animated GIFs using Canva or similar design tools.
