Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities.

Ransomes Jacobsen Ltd are seeking two dynamic and knowledgeable Sales Specialists to join our ELiTE sales team. These positions are pivotal in promoting and selling our electrified turf care equipment to golf courses in the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidates will possess strong commercial acumen, a passion for sales, and the capability to master the value proposition and technical aspects of our electrified turf care equipment. They will have an adaptable approach, adept at engaging with General Managers, Head Greenskeepers, and Mechanics, ensuring our solutions meet the operational and technical needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executing and defining sales strategies to promote the electrification of golf course turf management;
  • Capability to build and maintain strong relationships with golf course General Managers, Greenskeepers, and Mechanics;
  • Understanding and articulating the commercial benefits of our products, including cost savings, efficiency, and sustainability;
  • Conducting tailored product demonstrations of electrified turf care equipment, as required;
  • Building strong relationships and collaborating with our dealer network, to ensure seamless sales processes and customer satisfaction;
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the Company;
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in turf care and electrification;
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns;
  • Providing feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands;
  • Utilising CRM software to track sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
About You
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the turf care, golf, or capital equipment industries;
  • Willingness to acquire a strong understanding of turf care equipment and electrified products via training;
  • Excellent commercial skills, including deal structuring and margin analysis;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders;
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a passion for sales;
  • Technical aptitude and the capability to acquire product knowledge;
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently;
  • Valid UK drivers license and a willingness to travel as required.
