Our client is a global leader in manufacturing vehicle systems and is looking for an Electronics Engineer to join on a permanent basis!

Job Description

Responsible for delivering design projects for the Electronics and Electrical department from initial concept through to detailed designs. You will be involved in designing or rectifying analogue and digital circuitries, and will also be responsible for detailed schematics for control and power systems (Wiring diagrams). Additionally, you will be responsible for hands-on testing of PCBs along with wiring junction boxes, using breadboard prototyping and a variety of hand tools. You will have R&D involvement looking into new technologies including Electric Motors, Drives, and power distribution equipment.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

1. Proven circuitry design with both Analogue and Digital circuitry (Altium is desirable)
2. Must have experience with Motors/Drives, understanding specifications and designs
3. Experience working with communication protocols such as: RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, Ethernet
4. Electronics/Electrical qualification
