Key Duties
System Design and Architecture:
Contribute to the overall system architecture of semiconductor equipment.
Design and develop electrical systems for new products, considering performance, reliability, and scalability.
Circuit Design And Analysis
Design electronic circuits for various subsystems of semiconductor equipment.
Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
Interface Design
Design interfaces for communication between different components and subsystems within the semiconductor equipment.
Design cabling between components and subsystems.
Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
Testing And Validation
Develop test plans and procedures for validating the performance and reliability of electrical systems.
Collaborate with test engineers to conduct experiments and troubleshoot issues.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure that electrical designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
Work with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary certifications for semiconductor equipment.
Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists, to integrate electrical systems into a cohesive product.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address challenges and find solutions.
Continuous Improvement
Identify areas for improvement in existing designs and processes.
Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in semiconductor manufacturing and integrate relevant innovations into product development.
Documentation
Create detailed documentation for electrical designs, including schematics, specifications, and test reports.
Maintain accurate records to facilitate knowledge transfer and future modifications.
Troubleshooting And Support
Provide support for field issues and assist in diagnosing and resolving electrical-related problems in semiconductor equipment.
Collaborate with customer support teams to address customer inquiries and concerns.
Key Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years as a electronics engineer preferably in capital equipment development industry (Semiconductors, Medical, Large printers etc.)
