Job description

Electronics Engineers - Full Product Lifecycle Development | Innovation Meets Impact

Are you a highly skilled Electronics Engineer ready to take ownership of exciting projects from concept through to delivery? We're looking for experienced engineers to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, where you'll make a tangible impact on real-world products across a diverse range of industries.

As an integral part of our design team, you'll work closely with mechanical engineers and other specialists to create innovative, high-performance solutions. This is a hands-on, full-lifecycle role - from early feasibility through design, testing, and manufacture.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the electronic development of products, working in tandem with mechanical teams to meet spatial and functional constraints.
  2. Create PCB layouts and designs, complete with full documentation for manufacturing.
  3. Source, build, and test electronic prototypes, including in-house pre-compliance EMC testing.
  4. Identify and implement design improvements for cost optimisation and technical performance.
  5. Lead qualification and testing processes, ensuring compliance with EMC, automotive, and aerospace standards.
  6. Conduct feasibility studies for new electronic innovations.
  7. Produce detailed test reports and documentation throughout the development process.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  1. Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
  2. At least 3 years' industrial experience in electronic product development.
  3. Strong background in both analogue and digital circuit design.
  4. Experience managing the full product lifecycle, from concept to market.
  5. Knowledge of designing for EMC compliance and hands-on EMC testing.
  6. Familiarity with CAN bus protocols, especially SAE J1939.
  7. Proficient in PCB design tools and CAD software.
  8. Comfortable working independently across multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. High level of written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation practices.
  10. Computer literate - including MS Office, Teams, and ERP systems.
Bonus Skills (Not Essential but Valued):
  1. Firmware development (C, C++, RTOS).
  2. Embedded Linux, Qt, and Python.
  3. Power electronics and battery management systems.
  4. Sensors, wireless, and serial interface integration.
  5. Video processing and machine vision applications.

If you're passionate about innovation, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to see your ideas brought to life, this is the perfect role for you. Apply now and be part of something that truly makes a difference.
