Job description

A Production Engineer with a background involving electronic engineering processes will undertake manufacturing support for a range of radar systems throughout their lifecycle. You'll possess a formal Engineering qualification, be familiar with technical drawings and have good experience of electronic assembly and ideally some RF exposure.


Reporting to the Production Manager, the electronic Production Engineer will take responsibility for documenting the specification of products throughout their lifecycle; providing support during radar testing as well as being the technical contact for outsourced manufacturing facilities and component suppliers. The ability to communicate well is essential.


The ideal Electronic Production Engineer will bring the following:
  1. HNC/HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  2. Commercial experience of electronic engineering processes.
  3. The ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  4. Some exposure to mechanical engineering processes.
  5. Exposure to RF Electronics is a distinct advantage.
  6. Experience of electronic (including PCBA) and mechanical assembly.
  7. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  8. Full UK driving License.
  9. Ability to produce detailed technical documentation.

A competitive salary in the region of £40-50K will be offered, depending on your level of experience. Hybrid working available with a minimum of 3 days in office and 2 WFH (depending on the workload and at the managers' discretion).
