Job description

An experienced Production Technician with an electro-mechanical Engineering background will become part of an award-winning company that designs and manufactures a range of thermal imaging equipment. The Electro-Mechanical Production Technician will get involved with:

  1. Assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  2. Working closely with other engineers and production team members to optimize processes and resolve technical issues.
  3. Performing functional tests and quality checks on assembled devices to ensure they meet quality standards.
  4. Maintaining accurate documentation.
  5. Assisting in maintenance and calibration of production equipment and tools.

The Electro-Mechanical Production Engineer should bring the following:

  1. A relevant engineering-related qualification.
  2. Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly, including soldering (to 0201) and wiring.
  3. Good fault-finding skills.
  4. Ability to read schematic diagrams.
  5. Exposure to optical assembly would be great to see.
  6. Ability to use standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
