Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey
Job Type: Permanent

Are you an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a skilled Assembler to build, test, and repair electro-mechanical assemblies to the highest quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work from technical drawings, SOPs, and CMMs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assemble electro-mechanical components, including fan/motors and heaters, following technical drawings and specifications.
  2. Use hand tools and measuring equipment such as torque drivers, micrometers, and verniers.
  3. Conduct drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, filing, buffing, lubrication, and other assembly tasks.
  4. Connect cables and wires according to specifications.
  5. Inspect and test finished products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  6. Maintain assembly equipment and follow all manufacturing procedures.
  7. Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
  8. Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities to enhance quality and efficiency.
  9. Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements, including the use of PPE.
  10. Provide support to colleagues and, when required, train others in line with the local skills matrix.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Proven experience as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, SOPs, and CMMs.
  3. Experience with small component assembly and soldering.
  4. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  5. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  6. Self-motivated, with good time management and problem-solving skills.
  7. Basic IT skills to manage documentation and records.
