Job description

Pyramid8 are recruiting for an Electrical Site Auditor to work for a major brand implementation company who with some of the biggest clients in the market. They are passionate about delivering a high level of service and have a number of ongoing projects that they require the support of an Electrical Site Auditor to ensure that they are compliant.

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Site Auditor to conduct comprehensive site audits, ensuring compliance with electrical regulations and industry standards. You will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations, identifying potential hazards, and compiling detailed reports. The role requires travel between multiple sites, to ensure quality standards and Compliance, looking after large fuel retailers and mainstream supermarkets, so a full driving license is essential.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Conduct on-site electrical audits to assess compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and other relevant standards.
  • Evaluate electrical systems, installations, and equipment, identifying non-compliance, defects, and safety concerns.
  • Generate detailed reports with audit findings, recommendations, and remedial actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure reports are completed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with site managers, contractors, and electricians to ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to site teams on best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while conducting site audits.
  • Travel between sites as required, managing schedules efficiently to meet audit deadlines.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Qualification Essential.
  • Previous experience (5 Years) in electrical auditing, inspection, or compliance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to write detailed reports and document audit findings clearly.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites (Full UK driving license required).
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
