We are looking for a multi-skilled Electrician to join our client's team operating in and around Central London. You will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative electrical works, fault finding, small installations and repair work, as well as ensuring high levels of Health & Safety compliance at all times. As a skilled Electrical Engineer, you'll be working throughout commercial sites such as contracts, schools, retail units, and offices; and also look after several residential properties in London.
Job Description:
The scope of the work that you are required by the company to carry out includes but is not limited to:
- Carrying out a range of commercial electrical and plumbing and/or AC building maintenance tasks.
- Planned and reactive electrical and building services maintenance.
- Electrical works to include:
- Lighting Alarm systems
- High and low voltage
- Re-wiring
- AHU
- FCU
- Installation Power
- EICR TESTING
Perform fault diagnosis on commercial equipment, minimizing disruptions by ensuring timely repairs and solutions.Diagnosing breakdown faults, carrying out repair works, completing daily reports, advising customers on operation of equipment, and working to company procedures.Display self-management and good interpersonal skills.Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed back to the office.Deliver high levels of customer service to all clients.Air Conditioning/F-Gas knowledge is desirable.Essentials:
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 electrical and 17th or 18th edition.
- Multi-skilled, able to do some light plumbing works and/or AC works.
- Must hold a full UK licence.
- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship (Ideally Electrical) is essential, along with strong technical knowledge of electrical systems within an industrial setting.
- Experienced in electrical works - Pre Planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Callout 1 week 8.
Desirables:
- Mechanical engineering/HVAC knowledge.
