Job description

Annual salary: up to £44,100.00

Electrician

Staines and surrounding areas

Full Time Permanent.

Salary up to £44,100 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday-Friday)

Pyramid Plus South, a joint venture partnership between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, provides repairs and maintenance, compliance, planned replacements and fire risk assessment works. We successfully complete over 35,000 repairs, 2,200 electrical tests, 1,000 voids and fit 600 kitchens and bathrooms annually to 23,500 homes. With a wide range of upcoming projects, there are exciting times ahead as we continue to grow!

Electrical Duties:

  1. To undertake installation, service, repair, and maintenance of a broad range of domestic properties.
  2. Responsible for fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical installations, systems, equipment, and components.
  3. Carrying out inspection, servicing and planned preventative maintenance works.
  4. Make adequate records of all installation, repair, servicing, and testing work undertaken.
  5. Assist the building maintenance teams as necessary with electrical aspects of installation, alteration, refurbishment, and maintenance works.
  6. Provide detailed technical advice relevant to your discipline to assist management as required with the discharge of the department's work obligations.
  7. Work individually or as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
  8. Use relevant IT systems to manage and prioritise workload to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  9. Use relevant IT systems to record all work undertaken and related information and expenditure.
  10. Adhere to Mears health and safety policy and procedures, identify hazards, and undertake point of work risk assessments as required.
  11. Communicate effectively with building occupiers to minimise inconvenience when planning and undertaking building maintenance.

Role Criteria:

  1. Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  2. City & Guilds 18th Edition (If you have 17th edition you can work through your 18th edition).
  3. Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent.
  4. Ideally previous domestic, social housing experience.
