We are now seeking an Electrician to carry out void electrical works in the Norwich area. You will join us in supporting our ongoing partnership with Orbit; now in its twelfth year providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

Delivering a range of property services, including reactive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance services to over 100 local authorities and housing providers nationwide including Orbit: one of the largest housing providers in the midlands, east Anglia and the southeast.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team, with a key focus on working in void properties. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), as well as addressing any necessary NEC1 and C2 issues. You will also be involved in comprehensive inspection and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Your day-to-day tasks will include wiring new kitchen circuits as part of kitchen upgrade works, as well as the installation and replacement of extraction fans. As a key element of this role, you will carry out detailed testing and inspection (BICR) to identify any potential electrical faults or hazards and take appropriate action to resolve them.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical inspection, testing, and fault diagnosis, with the ability to work efficiently and independently in void properties. A high standard of work and attention to detail is essential to ensure all installations and upgrades meet safety and regulatory standards.
