Electrician

Basic salary: circa £39k, with OTE of circa £42k, including overtime and call-out payments.

Location: Havant and surrounding areas

Additional benefits: 23 days holiday + Bank holidays, pension scheme, and health care cover. Van, fuel card, uniform, IT equipment, and test equipment will be provided.

Reed Recruitment (Southampton Branch) are recruiting for electricians for our client who are an established and reputable local business with experience in providing responsive repairs and maintenance solutions to local authorities and housing associations.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Fault-Finding.
2. Responsive Repairs.
3. Replacing accessories such as sockets, switches, external lighting, etc.
4. Small electrical installations.
5. Inspection and Testing of electrical installations.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. 18th Edition or equivalent experience.
2. Initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations, C&G 2391 - EAL 600/4337 or equivalent qualifications.
3. Possess working knowledge of IEE regulations and BS7671.
4. Good Communication Skills.
5. Full UK Drivers Licence - no more than 3 points.
6. Experience of carrying out electrical work within the social housing/domestic sector.
