Electrician

At smartDCS we are looking for electricians in the Southwest to undertake Commercial, Installation, and Maintenance work. All candidates will be required to obtain and maintain an appropriate UK security clearance.

These roles are a great opportunity for electricians who are keen to learn specialist disciplines within the industry and we will actively encourage you to upskill while you progress within the company as opportunities arise.

What we want from you:

• Required education: Full Electrical Apprenticeship, C&G 2391, 18th Edition, and AM2
• A proven history working as a Commercial/ Industrial Electrician
• You must be able to carry out periodic inspections
• Good understanding of and attitude to Health & Safety requirements
• Able to resolve any electrical issues that arise on site
• Flexible attitude and motivated approach to work
• Full Clean UK driving license (company vehicle provided)
• Good representation and appearance for the company at all times
• Knowledge and ability to use a range of relevant tools and materials
• Basic IT skills (including electronic submission of time sheets)
• Security clearance or a willingness to undergo clearance preferred
• An ECS card

What would be desirable from you would be:

• SSSTS Accreditation
• IPAF - full training will be given
• PASMA – full training will be given
• Knowledge of EV charging units, full training will be given
