Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled electrician with a minimum of two years' experience to join our team. In this role, you will start your career working towards becoming a Qualified NICEIC QS, within a leadership position supporting the existing Senior QS.
Your working week will be balanced with time both delivering repairs and installations, and time spent completing your personal training and undertaking inspections/administration tasks. You will utilise your expertise to oversee and guide the electrical team and develop your leadership skills.
Your fundamental responsibility lies with the quality and compliance of the day-to-day work of the business.
Key responsibilities:
Qualifications: The main criteria that you need to apply for this role is Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services - Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) AM2 certificate, 18th Edition, Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.
If you don’t have all the desired qualifications, Metworks can provide some training assistance for the right candidate to help you attain these. Please note that salary offered will be 38,220 until the required qualifications are complete, at which point it will increase to 40,131.

Metworks is the in-house repairs and maintenance team involved in delivering repairs and planned improvements where needed to approximately 60,000 homes. The role will be working across our 10,500 homes throughout the East Midlands.

As standard, you will be added to the DBS updating service with a new check being carried out on a 3 yearly basis. The cost of a DBS will be paid for by the organisation.
