Electrician

S&D Trade Recruitment is supporting our client based in Ashington in their search for an Electrician. This is a permanent position and a great opportunity to join a well-established property maintenance team working across a variety of domestic and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician with solid experience in repairs and general maintenance. You'll need to be confident working on-site, managing your own workload, and delivering high standards of work and service. Salary: £38,225 per annum (inclusive of April 2025 pay award) - OTE £43,000 including standby.

Electrician Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance work across homes and commercial properties.
2. Tackle a mix of planned jobs and responsive repairs, often involving other basic trades.
3. Travel between properties as needed.
4. Maintain a professional and friendly approach when dealing with tenants or clients on-site.
5. Keep accurate records of work and report any follow-up actions required.
6. Maintain Health and Safety as per company protocols.

Electrician What We are Looking For:

1. Required Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
2. Must have 18th Edition wiring regulations and Testing & Inspection certification.
3. A full UK driving licence.
4. Experience working in property maintenance or facilities management would be advantageous.
5. A practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
6. Someone who takes pride in their work and always puts the customer first.
7. Strong communication skillset, with ability to meet deadlines.
