Role Overview:

As an Electrical Training Officer, you will deliver NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance content to small classes of up to 14 trainees. Your role will be a blend of 50% theory and 50% practical training, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and deliver training materials to meet safety, technical, and behavioural standards.
2. Develop and review lesson plans, implementing improvements based on feedback.
3. Monitor, assess, and provide feedback on trainee progress, offering guidance as needed.
4. Evaluate trainee competency and support their development.
5. Collaborate with other training officers to promote a culture of health, safety, and good housekeeping.
6. Maintain accurate records of trainee performance and progress.
7. Act as a mentor, helping trainees overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Experience: At least 5 years in an Electrical Maintenance role, or as a Training Officer in Electrical Maintenance.
2. Background: Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
3. Qualifications: Relevant electrical qualifications to a minimum of NVQ Level 3.
4. Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
5. Desirable: Working towards or holding Level 3 Award in Education and Training, CTLLS, NVQ Level 3 in Direct Training & Support, A1 and/or V1 (D32/D33/D34), Cert. Ed.
