About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrical Tester to join our team in the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in occupied and void properties.
2. Perform visual inspections and functional testing of electrical installations.
3. Identify faults, recommend corrective actions, and carry out remedial works as required.
4. Ensure compliance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
5. Prepare and issue accurate reports and certificates.

Essential Requirements:

1. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
2. City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing and Inspection certification.
3. Up-to-date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).
4. Previous experience in electrical testing within the social housing or domestic sector.
5. Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Full UK driving license.
9. Experience working with reactive maintenance and planned works.
