Electrical Testers

We are recruiting for experienced industrial electricians with testing experience to work on a major Ministry of Defence facility completing industrial containment and carrying out electrical testing. We will assist with the security clearance process, which should take no longer than 2 weeks to complete.

Duration: Ongoing (into 2025 and beyond)

Electricians may not be doing testing work the whole time; however, candidates must possess a valid JIB Gold Card with testing qualifications and experience.

Opportunity: This is a very lucrative, long-term opportunity where you can maximize your earning potential through an 11-day fortnight working pattern (Wk1 - 66 hrs, Wk2 - 42 hrs) with lots of midweek and weekend overtime available.

Weekend Pay: All weekend hours are paid at X2 double = £49.97 per hour.

Start Date: ASAP (2-3 weeks from application commencement dependent on SC Security Clearance process)

Requirements: JIB Gold Card, IPAF, testing & inspection qualifications and experience, and willingness for Security Clearance.

Working Hours: 11-day fortnight (Wk1 - 66 hrs, Wk2 - 42 hrs) with midweek and weekend overtime payable at enhanced rates.

Methods of Pay: Pay as You Earn (PAYE) - ONLY - No payroll company charges.

JIB Gold Card Electrician PAYE Rates, Allowances, and Bonuses:

1. Monday - Friday (1st 37.5 hours): £24.99 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
2. Midweek Overtime: Any hours after 37.5 (Mon-Fri) - £37.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
3. All Saturday and Sunday hours: £49.97 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
4. Lodging: £70 per day worked (taxed)
5. Travel Allowance: Taxed periodic fare dependent on home location
6. Travel Time: Periodic hours dependent upon home location
7. Weekly Bonuses: £50 Bonus paid weekly dependent on quality and £50 Bonus paid weekly on productivity/attendance (both taxed)
8. Fortnightly Completions Incentive Bonus: £110 - Must work full 11 days to qualify (taxed)
