Electrical Tester

Tester required for a small, established, and growing team. This position is busy and varied, and it would be beneficial if the candidate has some form of previous testing or electrical tester experience. The annual salary is up to £27,500. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm.

A DBS will be carried out if the successful candidate doesn't already have a valid check.

This is a temp-to-perm position.

Duties:

1. Fault-finding to component level on a variety of electronic products, including analogue and digital circuitry.
2. Follow schematic and circuit drawings to perform accurate testing and fault diagnosis.
3. Fabricate test jigs to meet specification requirements.
4. Test assembled PCBs based on functional test specifications.
5. Write and update test specifications and procedures when needed.
6. Ensure accurate records are maintained throughout the testing process.
7. Familiarity with ICT, XJTAG, and Labview would be advantageous.
8. Understand and adhere to current quality standards and build practices, such as IPC and 5S.
9. Soldering and rework.

1. Good PC skills.
2. Electrical testing experience is beneficial.
3. Previous warehouse or production experience will be considered.
4. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
