The role
As an Electrical Test Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. An exciting opportunity to become part of a highly successful section responsible for the maintenance/repair and breakdown on nuclear cranes and nuclear facilities within Devonport.
Day-to-day, you’ll direct and co-ordinate all the activities to meet the aims set out by the Senior Commissioning Engineer during the maintenance/repair or breakdown of nuclear implicated cranes, overhead travelling cranes, refuel equipment and associated systems to time, cost and quality. Ensuring that all activities conform to professional engineering standards, quality orders and nuclear safety constraints.
Please note that this position involves working at height. Candidates must be able to work safely and perform tasks at varying heights.
Please note that the successful candidate will be expected to work a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts, as required.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
