Electrical Technician

Alecto Recruitment are currently working with a Large Recycling Company in their pursuit for a new Electrical Technician.

Job Brief

To support the Engineering Team with all Operational Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities
  1. Work alongside a shift team of skilled workers during shifts.
  2. Provide advice and expertise on the current running of the plant when requested.
  3. Comply with all health and safety to the highest standard.
  4. Monitor performance and standards on shift.
  5. Assist Management and Supervisors with plant running.
  6. Carry out preventative, responsive and pre-planned maintenance.
  7. Use CMMS Systems to comply with existing site procedures.
Requirements
  1. MUST hold either 17th or 18th Edition.
  2. Ideally hold an HNC, Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  3. Should have completed an Apprenticeship within Engineering.
  4. Proven experience within Heavy Industrial Engineering.
  5. Experience within a Waste, Recycling, Power, or Process plant Facility.
  6. Good understanding of Health & Safety and Controls Systems.
  7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Package Details

Salary is £50,000 a year.
This role is worked on a 4 on 4 off shift basis, based on 12-hour shifts, Days and Nights.
This opportunity comes with a vast amount of training and a clear progression route within the company.
The Person

This role would suit an experienced person with experience within any Heavy Industry environment.
Ideally someone with the eye for detail and good communication skills.
