Electrical Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is designed for individuals looking to develop their skills in a technical environment. The Technician will receive hands-on training and support while assisting experienced technicians in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment. A strong focus on customer service and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Must have own transport and be willing to work away from home 5 days a week.

Duties

1. Perform routine upgrade maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical installations and equipment.
2. Install, test, and inspect electrical components, including wiring, circuits, and panels, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
3. Diagnose and rectify electrical faults using technical drawings, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
4. Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
5. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement system upgrades and modifications.
6. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance logs.

Requirements

1. 17th or 18th Edition
2. Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
4. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Happy to work away from home Monday to Friday.

Schedule: Monday to Friday - away from home 5 days a week. All hotels, breakfast, lunches, and petrol paid for.
