Job description

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Durham & Newcastle

Role: Mobile

Looking for a new challenge in Electrical Maintenance?

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be working across the Durham/Newcastle region to perform the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and fire alarm systems across the Estate. The position is a mobile role with the requirement to travel to client sites; therefore, you must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Main Duties:
  1. Undertake the installation of Electrical and Fire Alarm Systems
  2. Undertake the maintenance of Electrical and Fire Alarm Systems
  3. Identify any risks and report to the client
  4. Work on the improvement and implementation of PPM program
  5. Liaise with Client on-site teams regarding building service related issues
  6. Completion of required documentation as specified
  7. Attend Site Meetings and Training when required
  8. Follow Health and Safety guidelines and report accordingly
  9. Co-operate with other disciplines for the provision of multi-discipline services where required
What We Are Looking For:
  1. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2356 Part 1 & 2
  2. City & Guilds 2357
  3. BS 7671 Electrical Regulations 18th Edition or 17th Edition
  4. City & Guilds #removed# Electrical inspection and Testing is desirable
  5. Full UK Driving Licence
  6. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
